Walden's Puddle

Walden’s Puddle is middle Tennessee's only wildlife rehabilitation and education facility - and it's located just around the corner in Joelton. Last year, they admitted more than 1,700 animals into their facility. Their mission is to provide care for sick, injured and orphaned native Tennessee wildlife and to provide educational experiences to the community, allowing for a greater understanding and appreciation of wildlife.

You can meet their animals through their Educational Outreach program opportunities. They offer visits to classrooms, scout meetings, and camps. Programs can be tailored to fit curriculum or topics.

Found an injured or orphaned animal? Call the Wildlife Hotline at (615)-299-9938
