Ms. Cheap Highlights Local Plant Sale

This is the weekend for the Little Marrowbone Farm spring sale of herbs, perennials and other plants like hostas and evergreens. Prices are 10 percent to 30 percent off almost everything, including gift items and pottery, as well as the selection of plants.

Most of the 3½-inch plants, which are usually $3.50 at Little Marrowbone, are $2.50 at this sale. This 22-year-old pesticide-free farm, owned and operated by Bill and Andrea Henry, has this sale every spring and offers a good selection of "Proven Winners'' brand, as well as exotics, citrus and succulents.

Sale hours are 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon–4 p.m. Sunday. Little Marrowbone, which has 11,000 square feet of greenhouses, is on Little Marrowbone Road two miles off Highway 12 in Ashland City. 792-7255.
