Arts & Craft Classes at Hot Potato Kids

I love the classes that Hot Potato Kids has planned for the summer!!

* Budding Artist (ages 3-5) 9:30-10:30
* Little Picasso's (completed Kindergarten-3rd) 10:30-11:30
* The Renissance (completed 4th grade & Up) 11:30-12:30

Session 1- HANDS DOWN! Thursday, June 18:
(all ages)- Children will make Father's Day shirts. Celebrate what is unique about your dad! This is a new twist on a traditional gift for dads. Discover how you can give them a t-shirt sporting a tie that suits their personality!! $8.00 per child/shirt

Session 2- Thursday, June 25:
(Budding Artisti) Mommy & Me Countng Collage & Picture frame. Come experience the use of various forms of collage materials to create a reusable counting book. Your child will also make a special picture frame to memorialize your time together. $6.00 per kit
(little picasso's) Shake, Rattle, & Roll. Come make and decorate a set of musical instruments. $5.00 per child
(the Renissance) Wearable Recycables-Part 1: Learn to make personalized bottle cap necklaces. $10.00 per child

Session 3- Friday, July 10:
(Budding Artist) Mommy & Me Fingerpainting with Flair. Come experience the joy of fingerpainting while we use our "senses" to make a true work of art. Your take home kit includes NEW pack of finger paint paper and 4 vibrant color finger paints. $12.00 per child (need to pre-register for this class by June 27)
(Little Picasso's) Setting the Art Scene with Decoupage Plates. Teaches children how to use recycled items to creat a work of art. Each child will complete one decoupaged plate for display. $5.00 per kit
(The Renissance) Wearable Recycables- Part 2: Artists will learn how to recycle some items to create wearable works of art. They will make personalized belts and bracelets using soda pop tabs. $6.00 per student

Session 4- 5 Star Craft Day! -Friday, July 17:
(all ages) Each age group will create 5 crafts in one hour! $10.00 per child

Session 5- Totally to Dye For! - Friday, July 24:
This will wrap up our summer sessions! The family can join in for the fun from 9:30-11:30. Bring your (CLEAN-Prewashed) beach towel, bed sheet, t-shirt, socks, etc! You will learn various tye dye techniques to give you a funky glow! This is a great way to recreate that favorite t-shirt that has a stain on it too! Your kit will include one t-shirt to dye and enough dye for 3 of your personal items you bring with you. $6.00 per kit
