The CCHGA seeks to instill a historical sense of pride in our community and pursue our background, roots and history in a manner which will benefit future generations of Cheatham Countians. Thusfar, the group has:- placed of a historical marker on the Courthouse lawn;
- produced a Cheatham County flag;
- gaining recognition for buildings in the county by the National Register of Historical Sites;
- published periodic Newsletters for members;
- currently working on cleaning and preparing county documents for County Archive. currently raising funds for the establishment of a Cheatham County Museum.
