Cheatham County's Operation Clean Sweep is scheduled for the week of April 16.
This community event helps clean up the community the community, by hauling junk away from public parks, waterways, and even private property. Code enforcement authorities said many people lack the means to haul junk from their property, so Operation Clean Sweep volunteers do it for free.
Volunteers will help get rid of old appliances, tires, junk cars and other garbage. We need people of all ages with trucks, trailers, rakes and brooms. Call 792-7915 for more information.
